We’re hiring again – composer/audio engineer

Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

***Sorry, we are no longer taking applications for this position***

So, we’ve found our graphics programmer and he’s already working on making our graphics the best they can be for our new game. Our animator starts soon too and we’re really excited to see what he has up his sleeve. Now we’re set for E3 in the knowledge that Nnooo HQ will be a powerhouse of activity while we’re living it up attending important business meetings in LA.

“But what about the audio?” we hear you say. “Good point,” we reply. Let’s get that sorted.

Are you an audio genius? Do you want to work with games geniuses? Well then, we’re a perfect fit!

Take a look at this job description and if you fit the bill, we want to hear from you. We promise we’ll read your application in between E3 parties meetings and the search for our perfect audio partner will begin in earnest on our return to Nnooo HQ at the end of June.

Good luck!

We’re Hiring!

PlayStation 4, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, not to mention all of the other potential platforms there are out there. Plus we’ve just received our new Oculus Rift dev kit. We need help!

Are you an experienced C++ graphics programmer with handheld/home console experience? Or maybe an animator who has experience in Maya and are already credited with a shipped game, or you have 2+ years experience in animation for games, film or TV?

If you are, then why not come and work with an award-winning studio and help us develop our new game for multiple platforms?

PRESS RELEASE: Nnooo receives developer approval for PlayStation 4

Friday, April 26th, 2013

Nnooo is pleased to announce developer approval from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for the PlayStation®4 (PS4™).

The PS4 will be the second PlayStation platform Nnooo has developed for, having recently released its critically acclaimed escapeVektor™ on the PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita).

“It’s exciting to be developing for a new generation of consoles,” said Nic Watt, Creative Director at Nnooo. “We’re delighted to get early access to PS4 development kits so we can get our games on the console as quickly as possible.”

Nnooo is currently developing a new game which is expected to be released across multiple platforms, including the PS4 and PS Vita.

“We’re still at an early stage of development of our new game,” said Watt. “We don’t want to announce anything until we are more advanced with the project. Hopefully we’ll be able to say something about it around the middle of the year.”

As a result of the PS4 approval the company will be looking to hire additional experienced staff to help with programming and art/animation. Details of the Sydney-based roles will be announced next week.

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

Yesterday we received a reply from Mr Stoner. What do you think? Is this a promising step in the right direction or just some political wordsmithing?

If you took up our rallying call and sent an email to Mr Stoner, thanks for the support. We believe a fund of this nature is really important for the local games industry. Time will tell if our politicians agree. (more…)
