PRESS RELEASE: Nnooo to release Blast ‘Em Bunnies in China on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita
Sydney based indie developer Nnooo is delighted to announce Blast ‘Em Bunnies will be released in China on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita. A demo of the game will also be playable on the PlayStation booth at this week’s China Joy Expo in Shanghai.
Blast ‘Em Bunnies is a pick-up-and-play endless bunny shooter in which you defend your burrow from a horde of evil bunnies before they take you down! Check out the latest video.
“China is a relatively new market for PlayStation and we’re excited to be bringing Blast ‘Em Bunnies to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita there,” said Bruce Thomson, Business & Marketing Director at Nnooo. “It’s also new territory for us and we’re partnering with Shanghai-based publisher Circle Entertainment who know the market well.”
Blast ‘Em Bunnies has already been announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Xbox One in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The objective of Blast ‘Em Bunnies is to keep your bunny alive as long as you can. The longer you play, the more difficult survival becomes. You also need to deal with the throat slitter who is holding your baby bunnies hostage. He’ll pop up every now and again with one of your little ‘uns. Kill him quickly and the baby bunny escapes. If you’re not quick enough, your little rabbit is in a real stew!
Collect in-game coins to upgrade your weapons and purchase special ammo types such as self-detonating peppers, sticky exploding raspberries and daikon rain bullets. Shoot crates to activate power-ups and ammo types. Take out the elusive golden bunny to go into “frenzy” mode and collect a warren-load of cash.
“We are delighted to bring Blast ‘Em Bunnies to China Joy and to the Chinese PlayStation market,” said Chris Chau, CEO of Circle Entertainment. “It’s a really fun game which everyone can enjoy and we’re keen for Chinese players to get their hands on it.”
Blast Em Bunnies will be playable at the China Joy Expo in Shanghai from July 30th – August 2nd on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Head for the Circle Entertainment section of the PlayStation booth for a chance to experience the game and meet the developers.
“We’re really looking forward to being part of China Joy,” said Thomson. “It’s a massive show and the first time we’ve shown a game at an Expo in Asia. We can’t wait to meet a whole new region of bunny-blasting fans! If you’re going, be sure to come along and say hi.”
