Monday, October 22nd, 2012

What, a month since our last update? Let’s go:

Our weekend at EX Expo was a blast. We were blown away by the reception we received for Spirit Hunters Inc and escapeVektor. The days manning the booth were long but it was worth it to see people of all ages playing our games and thoroughly enjoying themselves. We were positioned right in front of the entrance to the pavilion so we had a prime position to attract the crowd. Our new Spirit Hunters Inc banner helped draw people in and to top it all off we had graffiti art of some of the spirits as a backdrop to the booth. We couldn’t have hoped for more! (more…)

Spirit Hunters Inc features in final Nintendo Gamer magazine

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

We were really saddened to hear that the UK’s Nintendo Gamer magazine was to print its final issue this month. The closure of this publication, as well as the impending shutdown of Nintendo Power magazine in the US, marks the end of an era in Nintendo-based print coverage. Both magazines have been stalwarts of the Nintendo scene for years and both will be sadly missed by Nintendo fans everywhere.

When were were in the UK recently we visited quite a few magazines to showcase Spirit Hunters Inc and escapeVektor. One of the mags we went to see was Nintendo Gamer and shortly after our visit we heard the sad news about the publication. Given the long lead time required to feature in a magazine we figured we wouldn’t have a chance of appearing in any more issues, so imagine our surprise when a friend in the UK told us Spirit Hunters Inc had a double page feature!
