If you’ve been keeping up to date with our news you’ll know we’ve been pretty busy lately. Not only have we announced our new game, Blast ‘Em Bunnies, we’ve also been working with 2 other Australian developers to publish their games on consoles. We bringing Cubemen 2 from Melbourne studio 3 Sprockets to the Wii U. We’re also bringing ORBITOR, developed by Canberra based Evil Aliens, to console(s). The recent EB Expo video game convention in Sydney was a perfect opportunity for us to get all the developers together and showcase this trio of tremendous titles. Expos like this are a great chance for developers to talk directly to consumers, for us to show where we are in the development process and get direct feedback from the gaming public. It’s also a chance for us to spread the word via the games media who attend the event. This year’s EB Expo was also the first time we’ve had a game on a console manufacturer’s stand at a major expo with Blast ‘Em Bunnies showcasing on the PlayStation stand as well as the Nnooo booth! For our second publishing deal we’re delighted to announce that the visually stunning space exploration game ORBITOR will be coming to console. Currently in development by Canberra studio Evil Aliens, ORBITOR is expected to be completed in 2014 at which point we will be publishing the game on console. Take a look at the trailer to see the amazing visuals in this game, not to mention the great audio! We’re really excited to be working with Evil Aliens on their first project.

Our weekend at EX Expo was a blast. We were blown away by the reception we received for Spirit Hunters Inc and escapeVektor. The days manning the booth were long but it was worth it to see people of all ages playing our games and thoroughly enjoying themselves. We were positioned right in front of the entrance to the pavilion so we had a prime position to attract the crowd. Our new Spirit Hunters Inc banner helped draw people in and to top it all off we had graffiti art of some of the spirits as a backdrop to the booth. We couldn’t have hoped for more! (more…)

And we’ve been a little slack lately when it comes to updating this blog. So let’s get you up to date.
Spirit Hunters Inc is finished! Yes, you read correctly! FINISHED, FINISHED, FINISHED! So we can say with 100% certainty it will be released in the final quarter of this year. As soon as we have a date and price agreed with Nintendo we’ll issue a press release. We’ve also made a whole load of cool videos which we’ll be releasing once the launch date is announced, and of course we’ll be updating the Spirit Hunters Inc website with new spirit concept artwork like the images you see here, eventually showing all the spirit families.
