Sydney, August 20, 2010

PRESS RELEASE: Nnooo announces the launch date of myNotebook: Carbon™ and myNotebook: Pearl™ for Nintendo DSiWare™ in Europe/Australia/New Zealand.

Hot on the heels of the myNotebook: Carbon release in the Americas comes the joint launch of myNotebook: Carbon and myNotebook: Pearl in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Scheduled for release on August 27, these two new versions of myNotebook™ allow the user to save 128 pages, export their notes to their Nintendo DSi Photo Album and unlock brand new page types. They also feature new icons to indicate the time and current battery level.

“People are excited about the new colours and functionality so we are launching 2 of the 3 new colours on the same day!” said Nnooo’s Creative Director, Nic Watt.  “We hope to launch myNotebook: Pearl very soon in the Americas and the final release of this series, myNotebook: Tan, should come out in September.” (more…)

A crowd shot from Supernova

A crowd shot from Supernova

I went to Supanova with my mate @scottrhodie at the weekend and had a blast (although was a bit hung-over). We wandered around agog at the Cosplayers, stands of comics, R2D2’s moving around and video games on display.

It was quite an afernoon. We attended a talk by the actor who originally played Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica (and was also in the new series as a bad politician/terrorist). I’m bad with names but you get the idea. Anyway it was quite interesting although it seems a lot of them use it as a show-case to get their latest message accross. In his case it was how cool doing a continuation of the original Battlestar would be. The hard part for me being a little cynical is that the main reason seems to be so he can reprise his Apollo role.

Pop+ Solo progressing well

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

It has been a while since we have updated the news pages so here is our second in one day!

Pop+ Solo is progressing very well and is getting very, very close to being ready to submit to Nintendo. This week we are finalising the last few parts (saving, badges unlocking) as well as squashing all the little bugs which creep into development.

We have also submitted 5 videos to Nintendo for inclusion on the Nintendo Channel which we hope to release on a weekly basis. We will release these on youtube at the same time (please note we are not 100% if Nintendo Europe will be adding the videos before or after release of Pop+ Solo, we will keep you appraised of the situation).

Finally we also updated the Pop+ Solo page today with some new information on badges and modes.
