Escape with all the medals

This is the final part of our series of features telling you all you need to know about escapeVektor.  Read on to learn about more enemy types, Boostenate and the soundtrack that will accompany your escape from the CPU.

Run, blast and reach for the stars!

escapeVektor™ is a retro styled arcade game  in which the player controls Vektor, an entity trapped inside the player’s CPU. Each node (level) consists of a series of interconnected lines which form cells. These are claimed as Vektor moves along them. Claiming all of the cells in a node unlocks the exit to the next node, bringing Vektor closer to his escape.

However, this is no ordinary CPU. It has held Vektor captive for what feels like an eternity and it doesn’t want him to leave now. As Vektor progresses with his escape, the CPU sets up obstacles and sends out its army to destroy him.

In the final part of our escapeVektor feature, we describe the Interceptors, Munchers and Locusts, the most difficult enemies to deal with. We also talk about the Detonate and Boostenate abilities, high scoring tactics and the interactive soundtrack. (more…)

Update: EB Expo, SHI, eV, GCAP & MK

Monday, October 22nd, 2012

What, a month since our last update? Let’s go:

Our weekend at EX Expo was a blast. We were blown away by the reception we received for Spirit Hunters Inc and escapeVektor. The days manning the booth were long but it was worth it to see people of all ages playing our games and thoroughly enjoying themselves. We were positioned right in front of the entrance to the pavilion so we had a prime position to attract the crowd. Our new Spirit Hunters Inc banner helped draw people in and to top it all off we had graffiti art of some of the spirits as a backdrop to the booth. We couldn’t have hoped for more! (more…)

So you know we’ve been working like crazy to get these games finished, don’t you? Of course you do, especially if you follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

And we’ve been a little slack lately when it comes to updating this blog. So let’s get you up to date.

Spirit Hunters Inc is finished! Yes, you read correctly! FINISHED, FINISHED, FINISHED! So we can say with 100% certainty it will be released in the final quarter of this year. As soon as we have a date and price agreed with Nintendo we’ll issue a press release. We’ve also made a whole load of cool videos which we’ll be releasing once the launch date is announced, and of course we’ll be updating the Spirit Hunters Inc website with new spirit concept artwork like the images you see here, eventually showing all the spirit families.
